Promotion of ApnaAdvisor.com

The current number of visitors are 3575. So almost 130 people have visited ApnaAdvisor.com in last 24 hours. We have started promoting our website using different social websites. Right now, it is not prudent to go for print media as the number of registrations is not sufficient. If, we give advertisement in the local newspaper in Ahmedabad, then there will be some visitors who are unable to find anyone in certain location for certain life or general insurance company. That will not be good for anyone. So we are waiting to cover maximum area in Ahmedabad, before going for print advertisement.

New Look given

Finally, the website www.apnaadvisor.com has an attractive new look. Its user friendly as well as more self explanatory. Its clear and uploads faster. Now the promotional activity will start from this Monday. First we will go for online promotion, then print media and radio. Our vision is very clear. We want this platform to be used by maximum number of sellers. As this number will increase, it will surely bring more customers of life insurance to our website.

The new look has been given after some research and its an international look, where the home page is simple and light. I hope it will be liked by all.
In last two days, 4 people from ING Vysya Life Insurance Company Limited have registered on ApnaAdvisor. There are many more who have sown interest.

Though we have uploaded ApnaAdvisor with the new look. It has many glitches. We are very concerned and our IT team is working to resolve them as soon as possible. These glitches affect the functional part as some places, but the website looks complete. We are still working on its designing part. Within 2-3 days, ApnaAdvisor will be perfectly working. Our Story!

Its cool. It all started a year back. I was sure that i wanted to do some business, that too into the service sector. I was trying to figure out some gap in the market. Since i have experience of working in the life insurance industry for more than 5 years, so i wanted to do something in this sector only. One fine day, i decided that i will leave my job and become a life insurance advisor. I thought that i have done business of more than 4 crorre premium collection and sold more than 1000 policies, so why don't i work on my own as that will fetch a very good amount of incentive and more significantly i will have sufficient time to devote for my business plan.I was clear that i want to become advisor of ICICI Prudential. But, i was confused about whom should i approach. I wanted my manager to be flexible and someone who will be on my wavelength. Since i have worked in tha bancaassurance channel in Navsari and Surat, i knew nobody in the agency or tide channel of ICICI Prudential. So i had to finally depend on one of my friend from insurance sector who sent one Agency Manager to my home and i was obliged to select him. I had no other option. So i selcted him as my manager.

That was the moment when the idea struck me that if i was able to visit some website where profiles of different managers were displayed i could have selected one of my choice. From that time i started looking for such website on the net. I searched for such website on net for almost 4 months, surfing 4-5 hours everyday. Later, ehen i found no such website anywhere in the world, i decided to make a website which will display profile of managers and advisor from the life insurance sector. I created www.alivewire.in with the help of yahoo service and started working on this concept from home, along with my job.

I also started discussing about this concept with my collegues. Vinay Lade who is my partner showed interest in this concept and he was the main person with whom i was sharing my ideas and details . I daily used to say something or the other about this idea to my wife. 3-4 months passed like this. Nothing happened, as this was a new concept and starting this business with the job was impossible.

My wife was getting bored with my everyday routine discussion. She cajoled me to take a plunge. Me and Vinay finally left our job and took this biggest risk of our life. We are convinced that we will surely bring a revolution in the insurance industry. New generation want ths best deal, everytime they spend money. So we are here to serve the insurance industry in a very unique way through our website www.apnaadvisor.com. This website will act as catalyst and the reaction will be very positive while being a platform where buyers and sellers will come together. ApnaAdvisor team believes in this mission that this website will be very useful for eveyone who is related to insurance.

I am very excited today, as ApnaAdvisor will get its new AVTAR today. ApnaAdvisor team is working hard to give a brand new look to the website which will be completely different from the current look. It will be more professional, matured, simple, user friendly and lighter. It will be such that everyone will be attracted to visit again and again. It will create curiosity and people like its features.
We are giving it an international look. A simple style which will be pleasant to view and easy to use. I hope it will be liked by everybody.

100 Days!

Yesterday, ApnaAdvisor.com completed 100 days. We also reached one milestone, as Bhargav Thakkar became the first person to get an appointment of a client who wish to buy the pension plan of Max New York Life Insurance Co Ltd. So our basic purpose of launching this website is getting shape. At least we have made a start.

Last week was very eventful as we also got request from 5 people who want to become Advisor. We have passed this FREE LEADS that have been generated online to some of the managers who have approached us, after we sent the SMS about these leads.

There has been more than 75 people who have already registered on ApnaAdvisor.com, all from Ahmedabad.

Now we will spread to new locations.
